Decades of relationships with executives at European clubs came before the agency was formally structured. Gol International seeks neither to be present in every league nor to represent hundreds of players. Its longstanding relationship with Joan Laporta, president of FC Barcelona, played a role in Robert Lewandowski's arrival at Barça in 2022, and later in Hansi Flick's appointment as head coach of the Catalan club in 2024.

Christopher Nkunku's move from RB Leipzig to Chelsea F.C., for approximately $65 million, illustrates this capability, ahead of his move to AC Milan in 2025, within a model where discretion also plays an important role.
